The 3rd Academy Day of Rafi Ahmed Kidwai National Postal Academy was celebrated on 18th February 2016 on the 122nd birth anniversary of Late Rafi Ahmed Kidwai, the first Minister of Communications of Independent India. On this occasion a Special Cover on Amaltas (Golden Shower tree) was released by Mrs. Kavery Banerjee, Secretary, Department of Posts. The Secretary, Department of Posts also released a Compendium on Preservation and Disposal of Records on the occasion. A cultural programme by the Indian Postal service probationers of 2014 batch was organised thereafter.
